In class we had to roll a die for three categorizes for the assignment: animal, emotion and occupation. I ended up with goat, anger and exotic dancer.
First, I had to do a week long study on goat anatomy and soon tried different combos on how humanized I want the goat to be.
I designed an 85% humanized goat with four different outfits: a work outfit for the club, a night-out look for the city, gym clothes, and loungewear. I wanted to imagine how she would dress in the environment she lives in.
I decided to drop the anger emotion because I feel like she’s more of a shy, sweet girl just trying to make her way in the big city.
I wanted to design how she will interact with her animal self, and what is more perfect than making her do some goat yoga! She needs to be flexible at her job and she loves small cute animals!
So I drew her in her gym outfit and researched how goat yoga works in real life, and there were some instances where yoga instructors put baby goats onto people's backs so that's where I got my inspiration from.
Half flesh and half skeleton seems very hardcore for a goat but also very on point for the reputation they have.
