Marine Biologist

I had to design a character from a fantasy future. I was thinking long and hard what type of character I wanted to create in a world that I designed. My first thought was what if she had cannons for breast and I decided to go from there in my concepts.

I made a lot of tweaks and design choices for my final iteration. I wanted her to be some sort of marine biologist in this sci-fi world.

I feel like creating some mech, chucky boots and armband adds to her silhouette.

Plus adding an umbrella skirt seems so unrealistic so it was perfect for her since this was her future.

She came out perfectly in the end. I really tried to add lots of details since I tend to avoid them in my past drawings, and it really worked out.

She is wearing a small goldfish hairpin to show her interest in marine life. Her bikini top has warning sign to show the dangers of the deep sea, and as an added bonus, she has three small pouches around her waist to hold treats she gives to fish and sea life.

And let's not forget about the iconic umbrella!

For the environment, I wanted her to be underwater surrounded by her little fish friends.
